Mehdi Benembarek is a Canadian entrepreneur and documentary photographer whose work is defined by a multicultural perspective and a pioneering spirit. Of Moroccan and Polish descent, he has spent over two decades shaping digital media landscapes and capturing profound human stories.

As the co-founder of Amabilis Inc. (1999), a trailblazing multimedia publishing house, Mehdi spearheaded innovative projects that bridged continents and cultures. He led corporate development for flagship ventures including Amabilia.com, a leading francophone women’s magazine; Saveurs Nomades, a digital culinary journey with world-renowned chefs; and NOW Maroc, an interactive travel magazine. His leadership was marked by excellence, with NOW Maroc being consecutively shortlisted for the prestigious Digital Magazine Awards in London. His video label, Morocco In Motion, achieved notable recognition, with content licensed by major international broadcasts like Secrets d’Histoire (France 2, TV5).

Parallel to his entrepreneurial success, Mehdi has cultivated a distinguished career in documentary photography. His evocative imagery has been shortlisted for international awards (IPA) and exhibited in cultural hubs worldwide, from Paris and New York to Los Angeles and Kuwait City. This passion for visual storytelling naturally extended into co-founding the Nomad Photo Club, offering immersive photography tours and workshops across the globe.

Embracing the digital renaissance, Mehdi entered the Web3 space in 2021. His journey evolved from photographic NFTs to innovative AI-generated collections, with work minted on Ethereum and Tezos. His digital art has found acclaim, entering the esteemed collections of notable figures like Pak and Sunny Sangwan.
